New Jersey residents who want to vote in the November 3 general election have until October 13 to register.
Gov. Mikie Sherrill reminded voters of the deadline Thursday, urging anyone who has not yet registered to do so before the cutoff.
Eligible residents can register online, by mail or in person through New Jersey election officials.
The November 3 election will include federal, state and local races, depending on where a voter lives.
New Jersey also allows voters to check their registration status online before Election Day.
Early in-person voting is scheduled to run from October 24 through November 1, giving registered voters several days to cast their ballots before Election Day.
Residents looking for registration information, voter-status checks and other election details can visit the state’s official voter information portal at Vote.NJ.Gov.
With the registration deadline just days away, election officials are encouraging eligible residents to verify their status and complete any necessary registration before October 13.
