Just two weeks after hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, MetLife Stadium is once again welcoming tens of thousands of fans—this time for one of the world’s biggest music acts.

On August 1 and 2, BTS brought its ARIRANG World Tour to East Rutherford, filling the stadium with fans from across the United States and around the world. Long lines, packed parking lots, and a sea of purple could be seen around the venue as concertgoers gathered for one of the summer’s most anticipated events.

The transformation happened remarkably fast. Only days earlier, MetLife Stadium was the center of the global sports spotlight as it hosted the FIFA World Cup Final, watched by millions of viewers worldwide. Temporary FIFA branding, media facilities, and event infrastructure have since been removed, allowing the venue to quickly return to its regular schedule of concerts and major sporting events.

The rapid turnaround highlights why MetLife Stadium is considered one of the busiest and most versatile stadiums in the world. From hosting the biggest match in international football to welcoming one of the most popular music groups on the planet, the venue continues to play a major role in New Jersey’s entertainment and tourism industry.

The busy schedule isn’t slowing down. Following the BTS concerts, MetLife Stadium will continue hosting major live events before welcoming back the New York Giants and New York Jets for the upcoming NFL season.

For New Jersey, it is another reminder that the state’s largest stadium remains a global destination long after the final FIFA trophy has been lifted.
